Some Teachers are TRIPPIN'!
*sigh* Yeah, it's never good when something starts with a sigh, unless it's a happy sight. That was NOT a happy sigh. School is such tedious work. I don't know about any other schools but my school has some teachers that just give us work and tests and quizzes to torment us. Like the chemistry teacher for example or the Spanish teacher. It seems as though those two teachers walk the face of the earth daily just thinking about how to bust their students' brains. The Spanish teacher decided upon giving us the hardest packet in the world filled with words that we hadn't learned and demanding that it should be finished by the end of class. IMPOSSIBLE! The chemistry teacher targeted us by giving us a quiz on MONDAY and a test on WEDNESDAY. How are we supposed to perfect the skills that we need to work on in one day? He's rather ignorant if he thinks that's possible. We DO have other classes if he hadn't noticed. Chemistry is one class out of seven in all...how much study time does he expect us to have? AND we have finals next week! What's up with him giving us a test so close to finals? BLECH! Nasty!I find that to be cruel and unusual. Why are my teachers trippin??

The First Time They've Taken a Fire Drill WAY Too Seriously
I've never really had a major problem with fire drills. Usually the only problem that I have (if any problem at all) with them is the outdoor weather. It's either it's hor or it's cold... Well today was almost a totally different story. We did have a fire drill today but this time it was different. It interrupted my Chemistry quiz (giving me more time to think about the problem that I was on [thank god]) So everyone was pretty happy. I met up with Liz on the way to the designated fire drill location and we talked about how she was sun-burnt and the bright outdoors wasn't helping very much. Since she was in a totally different class we had to part in order to gather with our classes. In middle school we had to line up, but at some point in time the concept of the line escaped our minds...but that's a topic for a different post. It was burning up out there and I was the genius who didn't take off my jacket while I was still inside. We "lined up" outside the way we normally do and waited for the cue that tells us we could go back inside. When I say we waited I mean that we stood there talking and goofing around. It was alright before, I don't know what changed. Before we knew it the C.E.O and principals were yelling at us and telling us to move down past the dugout that my class was directly behind. There were approximately over 600 of us and they were asking us all to move down so much that we ended up being smushed together in the boiling heat...not exactly the most comfortable feeling in the world. They never complained about us being aligned with the dugout before but they chose the 2nd to last week of school to start. Does that make sense? That and the noise levels were both the norm for us and they just decided to try and change it...like THAT makes any sense.

More Money = More Benefits
So... the kindergarten graduation ceremony for my little sister wasn't too bad. It was cute. No really what I expected...but I didn't expect much. They did a cute little musical type thing before they did the actual graduation.None of them wore shoes because they were camping. As they were walking about barefoot I thought about how all of the parents at my school would jump in with their preferences. "Oh! My child has to wear socks!" or "Can she not wear a plaid shirt? The different colors do nothing to compliment her skin tone." If my school were to do something like this then I could probably imagine all of the multiple possibilities of what the parents could complain about. Haha!My school tries its best to keep the parents happy. Of course they should, they get enough money from them... I would be a bad thing if we were dissatisfied with anything. I guess our parents have every right to be spoiled. 2nd Cup of Coffee once every month (I think), that demented website called Renweb invented to keep our parents posted whenever we fail stuff (not when we pass...hopefully you can see the problem with that). All of those are designed to keep our parents happy (and Renweb was designed to make the student's lives miserable). I like that...that means we sorta get spoiled too.
